What Happened To Top 100 List?

I am aware that there are few real estate bloggers out there that are wondering what happened to “top 100 list” I have been toying around with few months back.

If you are not following me on Twitter, you have most likely missed the news that the list is up and running once again- redesigned and updated. The Top 100 Real Estate Blogs now updates ratings on daily basis (or just about daily basis) while the “recent links” are update every hour.

If this is the firs ever time you hear about this list feel free to submit your blog. You blog has to be related to real estate in order to be added to the list.

There is also new addition to the website – a blog. The experience in putting the list together have taught me a few things and showed me certain traits that successful loggers have in common. I plan to share what I have learned there.

Yipeee, I made the top 100. ! ! !

Some time ago you gave me quite a bit of encouragement by saying that with the quality writing I was doing, as soon as I got some PR I would move into the top 100. That small bit of encouragement kept me going.

As I am sure you know, it's easy to get discouraged in the begining when you have no trafffic and therefore no feedback on the job you are doing.

If some one like me (English being my second language) can make some noise, you guys can really soar in this world of “blogs”.

And thank you. This is probably the best compliment I have ever received.

I am also planing to shift much of my blogging to “top 100 RE blogs”, hope to see you subscribe there as well. Thanks again Ned.

That's a super list. If only every blogging niche had one of those lists. I'll definitely be checking out a few of the real estate blogs.

There is nothing wrong in being competitive. However it was not the primary
purpose for creating that list, as mentioned on several occasions. I am
experimenting with “clicks heatmap” and so far most of the outgoing clicks
are from the left side of the page containing latest posts from the blog on
the list. But I have to run the script for a little longer to get more
conclusive data.

Great list. I'm an avid reader of many of these blogs. Hopefully I'll make the list in the future.
