The latest version of Disqus WordPress plugin allowed to sync your comments- every comment made with Disqus is entered into your Disqus database- so if you decide to leave them all you have have to do is to turn the plugin off. It also good for the times when Disqus is down. IntenseDebate has the same feature. Igor,
