Am I wrog here gang?

Matt,

I think LInkedIn has great potential in networking. However free account is quiet limited. I ma not sure I am ready to pay $20/month. Our good friend Andy Beard started my with LinkedIn after reading one of his articles. I also kept to only for contacts that I have been in touch more than just on occasion.

Thanks Richard for the info. I personally would not qualify LinkedIn as a social networking website. I would call it professional networking site. But again, what do I know?!! :)

linkedin was just added to the about.com top 10 employment site list with two other sites:

http://www.linkedin.com
http://www.indeed.com
http://www.realmatch.com

Of all the top 10 sites, linkedin is the only social networking site.
How does LinkedIn work? I don't really trust the accuracy of programs like this. I guess it's probably good enough to give you estimates of numbers, but I still believe they're probably way off. Who knows, though.
