Create Your Own Top 100 List

If you are regular reader of this blog, you might know by now that I, with the help of a good pal and outstanding programmer, have been having fun with Top 100 Real Estate Blogs.

Well, now you can create your own top 100 list. All you need to do is to join Every member can create their own top 100 list, to prevent the competition there can’t be two top 100 list on the same subject.

Speaking of Top 100 Real Estate blogs. There are already 150+ real estate blogs on the list, with submissions coming in almost on daily basis. While the list was criticized by some in the past, I can see that it is growing in popularity. If your blog is not on the list yet feel free to submit it either by leaving link to your blog in the comments or e-mailing me in private.

I also would like to encourage authors of the following blog to keep up the good work. You have almost made it into the top 100.

101 The Silver Fern
102 Property Monger
103 PropertyMaps Corporate Blog
104 St Louis Real Estate Voice
105 Atlanta Intown Lofts
106 House Hunting 101
107 Simms Team
108 Vancouver Real Estate Blog
109 The Silver Bee
110 St. John’s Real Estate Blog

Also a huge shout out to the authors of bottom 10 blogs. Some of you may end up among the top 100 blogs with the next update, since the last time the list was updated, there may have not been sufficient data to rank your blog appropriately.

145 The Trump BlogSorry Mr. Trump. I am sure you maybe wondering how come you are in the bottom 10. I think your webmasters should look into fixing your standings with Technorati (this is also true about every blog on the bottom)- if your care that is.
146 ProHabber
147 Outer Banks Real Estate
149 Appraisal Scoop
150 The Real Deal
151 Housing Bubble Casualty
152 The Housing Bubble
153 Real Estate Solutions
154 The Mortgage Porter

    Hey Vlad, hope things are going well with the lawsuit, fill me in when you have time.

    How about recalculating my blog rank on your Top 100? My Technorati and Alexa ranks have gotten better than what is currently shown on the list:

    Technorati = 1,009,173
    Alexa = 851,284

    Maybe I can move up a few spots!

    Thanks, Wayne

    The list should be updated some time today. It's updated only once a week.

    This is might be a little off topic, but have you ever considered hosting your blog on your own domain? It will probably will not affect your position on my list, it's just a marketer speaking in me.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Funny you should ask, I'm getting ready to switch to my own domain very soon, probably this weekend. I'll most likely stay with Blogger, but am looking at WP too, although I feel Blogger is much simpler, and I like simple. Anyway, I'll be making the move soon!

    I guess blogging is like driving a car…. Once you get used to one platform it's difficult to make the move.

    One thing that I like about Bloggger that in publishes your posts as html files and you do not need to worry about any databases. My first blog was powered by Blogger, although I hosted it on my own domain. They use to have an option to publish your blog via FTP to your own domain. It has been long times since I used Blogger. Please let me know when the new blog goes live so I can add it to the list.
