/>

LeapFish has been given a cold shoulder on many occasions by the leading technology blogs. However, today the things you say on the internet tend to stick around, something LeapFish management and employees fail to understand over and over again.

Ms. Slader, who according to her several online profiles is an executive assistant of Dontnext, Inc. as well as company called LeapFish.com wrote the following Tweet:

I rarely challenge people about what they say on twitter, unless their profile clearly states association with a particular company or institution.

Here is what Ms. Slader’s profile says as of the writing of this article:

Therefore my challenge to Ms. Slader was purely based on her representing a particular company, otherwise Ms. Slader would have never learned of my existence:

Ms. Slader took my comment as a threat:

While overlooking the vicious and very personal attack on my hair style (see my twitter profile picture to see what I am talking about) I would like to clarify one thing, should Ms. Slader cared enough to read this post. My tweet was not to threaten or scare anyone. What I really hoped for, in fact, was that Ms. Slader would get the hint and delete that hasty tweet, before it added more embarrassment to LeapFish’s already struggling reputation.

I also believe that Ms. Slader did not come to a conclusion that “bloggers are disgusting & twisted” on her own, but rather was influenced by her boss(es) or coworkers. Perhaps while taking notes during one of company executives meetings? Therefore it makes more difficult to explain her vicious and personal attack based on disliking my “fictional haircut”, a courtesy of YearBookYourself.com. I only wish I had such a beautiful set of hair!!!

The moral of the story??? Do you know if your secretary is active on Twitter or Facebook? Do you know what is she/he saying? Does it make your company look bad? Should you ask her/him to make their tweets private and hidden from the outside world???

In my opinion, Ms. Slader would be better off calling out, Matt Brown, Trace Richardson, Marshall Kirkpatrick and few others rather than making a “blanket” statements directed towards bloggers in general. Could it be that Ms. Slader is not aware of the fact that LeapFish.com awarded numbers of bloggers with Wiis, personal computers, iPads and plans to award $50,000 in cash in exchange for “good” publicity?

Disclosure: The above post is my personal opinion. No one paid or offered me any gifts to write the above posts.I believe Ms. Slader is good and hardworking individual. I believe Ms. Slader’s opinion of bloggers may have been influenced by others, perhaps even her boss(es). It is possible Ms. Slader made the above statements against her own will.Similar Posts:

A while back I have written a post about a friend of mine Trace Richardson, who had been subjected a to vicious attack on RipoffReport.com. Due to the nature of Ripoffreport.com and the ability to post anonymously, it is difficult to come to conclusion who is behind these attacks. But it doesn’t really matter who is writing these posts about Trace on Ripoffreport.com. What matters is that any one can be subjected to such underhanded attacks. It is still wonder to me that no one used Ripoffreport.com to post false allegations about my interpreting and translating business. But to be completely honest I see it coming and will not be surprised at all to see the allegations popping up after I publish this post.

Some of the complaints posted on Ripoffreport.com are aimed at LeadPress, a company founded by Trace. The interesting part of it is that LeadPress has not yet officially launched and as far as I know there is not a single paying client as of today. Yet the lies about Trace continue to be posted on Ripoffreport…

The unfortunate effect that Ripoffreport.com benefits from is it’s ability to rise in the search engines. Since Rioffreport.com does not provide a way to address the false accusation, the only other option that we have to our disposal is to try outrank them for the keywords they are ranking.

I would like to thank Matthew Brown (aka Lord Matt) who wrote about Trace Richardson on his blog after my first post with the call to link to Trace’s online profiles.

If you would like to help trace, use the code provided below in this post to links to Trace’s profiles and pages. I have chosen these particular pages about Trace around the Interned because I feel they have the best chance to beat Ripoffreport. Feel free to copy and paste the code when you write a post, but if you think there are other pages that can be brought to the top of the search results fee free to link to them as well. href="http://andybeard.eu/">Andy Beard, Matthew Brown (aka Lord Matt), Greg Swann and Trace Richardson we among the first to stand up in my defense. I had to draw on their courage and boldness, as I understood that by defending me they might have been facing similar attacks. They cared only about one thing- to do what is right. And shall be forever grateful for their courage. If it was not for these few bloggers, hundreds of other bloggers would have never know about my existence.

In the course of all of it, I have learned a thing or two about reputation management. And how fragile your reputation can be at the hands of disturbed individuals.

Last night as I was getting ready to launch the forum on this website (which is already live but still some adjustments have to be made) I had a flashback. Trace Richardson of BrokerSience posted how he is being attacked on Ripoff Report. While I have no knowledge who is posting those things, I have come to know Trace over the past few months and I would trust him with my mortgage in a heart beat. However it may not help Trace that much at this moment, since due to the brainless creep the page from Ripoff Report is ranking on the first page of Google for Trace’s own name. I know that by myself, I will be of no help to Trace. But if few bloggers can put their effort together and write similar posts, we can push back that page in Google results.

I am sure if you learn more about Trace, you will be compelled to write similar post, linking to his many online profiles. To get you started here is the list of place were you can “find” Trace:

Trace Richardson on LinkedIn

Trace Richardson on FriendFeed

Trace Richardson on EzineArticles

I am sure this only a glimpse of Trace’s online presence, so I will update this post in the future as I become aware of Trace’s other public profiles.

It really should not be that difficult to push down the Ripoff Report page from the first results on Google. And it can be accomplished very easy. All you need to do is to write a post that will have Trace’s name in the post, feel free to copy and paste the links to Trace’s public profiles above and finally make sure to let me know about your post so I can link to your post. Consider it it a New Years gift to Trace.

Happy New Year every one! See you in 2009!

Bellow is the list of bloggers who have written about this so far:<br
